This is a remote-first contract opportunity through the end of the year, with the potential to transition into a permanent position in early 2027. Occasional travel to clients in the Hamilton area.

About the Role

As a Recruitment Specialist, you will focus on recruiting permanent Manufacturing & Operations professionals for clients across Southwestern Ontario. You'll work alongside an experienced team of recruiters and business development professionals, allowing you to do what you do best—find exceptional talent and create outstanding candidate experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who loves recruiting, enjoys building relationships with candidates, and thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for permanent Manufacturing & Operations positions
• Source top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and other creative sourcing strategies
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates for technical and cultural fit
• Present qualified candidates to clients with detailed candidate summaries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Maintain accurate candidate records within our ATS and CRM
• Partner closely with our Business Development team to understand client hiring needs and priorities
• Deliver an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates
• Stay informed on manufacturing hiring trends and local labour market conditions
• Support employer branding initiatives through networking and social media when appropriate

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of recruitment experience, preferably within an agency or staffing firm
• Experience recruiting permanent positions
• Manufacturing, Skilled Trades, Operations, or Industrial recruitment experience is a strong asset
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, ATS/CRM platforms, and LinkedIn Recruiter
• A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to a positive culture

• Base salary of $50,000-$65,000
