Wage: $35-$45+/hr depending on experience

Maxx Contracting is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead our deck, fencing, and outdoor construction division.

If you're the type of carpenter who enjoys leading a crew, producing high-quality work, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Building

• Custom wood and composite decks
• Privacy and decorative fencing
• Gates and pergolas
• Playground installation
• Park and municipal projects
• Other outdoor construction projects

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 1-3 employees
• Read plans and organize projects
• Coordinate materials and daily production
• Maintain quality workmanship
• Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Communicate with clients and project management
• Train and mentor crew members
• Assist with playground installations throughout Vancouver Island

Qualifications

• 5+ years of carpentry experience
• Experience building decks and fences
• Previous leadership or foreman experience
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation

Assets

• Equipment operating experience
• Concrete forming experience
• Retaining wall experience
• Playground installation experience
