Job description:
We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator (Raymond Reach, and Raymond Counterbalance) for the Innisfil. (Must have a valid third-party forklift license)
Forklift Operator – Morning Shift (Innisfil, ON)
Pay Rate: CA$22.50 per hour
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM (Monday to Friday)
Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our client located in Innisfil, ON. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a strong possibility of long-term employment for the right candidate. Regular overtime opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts.
- Feed production lines with materials.
- Move and push skids as required.
- Double-stack finished products and prepare them for shipment.
- Place packages and cardboard skids into trucks as per schedule.
- Read and follow pallet and parcel container destination labels accurately.
- Handle all packages and materials with care.
- Conduct daily forklift safety checks and maintenance inspections.
- Manage the shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, invoices, and receipts.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of proven forklift operating experience.
- Valid forklift licenses for:
- Raymond Reach
- Sit-Down Raymond Counterbalance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Able to work full 8–9 hour shifts and lift moderate to heavy loads.
