Paint Prepper

The Paint Prepper plays a crucial role in ensuring surfaces are properly prepared for painting by performing cleaning, sanding, and masking tasks. Working closely within a small team, this role requires expertise with standard preparation equipment and a strong attention to detail to support high-quality finishes. You will be working in a shop environment preparing doors, windows, frames and cabinet/millwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sand surfaces to prepare for painting
• Mask areas to protect from paint overspray
• Operate standard preparation tools and equipment
• Collaborate effectively within a small team (1-3 members)
• Maintain workplace safety and organization
• Report progress and issues to the Operations Manager

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in painting preparation
