Hairstylist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Hair Stylist/Manager to lead our salon team with passion and professionalism. This role combines expert hair styling skills with strong leadership abilities, ensuring exceptional client experiences while managing daily operations. Responsibilities

• Deliver top-tier hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and special styling requests to clients of all ages.
• Lead by example in maintaining impeccable sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
• Provide outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering professional recommendations, and building lasting relationships.
• Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling appointments, overseeing front desk activities, and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Drive retail sales through effective upselling of hair care products and salon services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
• Supervise and motivate team members, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Handle client consultations with clear communication about styling options, maintenance tips, and product recommendations to maximize satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven experience as a senior stylist or manager within a busy salon setting with a strong portfolio of diverse hair styling techniques. Will Train.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols, safety standards, and best practices in hair care environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and vendors.
• Experience in retail sales or upselling techniques to promote products confidently without compromising client trust.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory; a proactive attitude towards team development is essential.
• Commission/hourly rate whichever is higher- sky is the limit- obviously you keep the tips!
