The successful candidate will be required to work an Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday from 3pm – 11pm plus overtime as requiredKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct pre-inspections of equipment prior to useMove and dump trailers into production process areasMonitor dispatch sheets to prioritize dumping of trailersMaintain housekeeping of working areasAccurately fill out any required production or quality paperworkOperate backhoe and forkliftsFollow all workplace health & safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:Valid Class G drivers' licensePrevious heavy equipment experience is an assetExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as well as part of a teamAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must have the ability to lift, push and pull between 50+ poundsBending, twisting, pushing/pulling, leaning, climbing, extended hours of walking and/or standingWE OFFER:$30.47/hour plus afternoon shift premium Benefits Plan, including Life Insurance, Disability and Health, Dental and Vision, Life Insurance and an Employee Assistance ProgramEducational Assistance Programs, Scholarship Programs and Apprenticeship ProgramsDefined Contribution (DC) Pension PlanUniforms providedSafety shoe/boot programDarling International Canada Inc. is committed to a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities where our facilities are located.
