Position: Apprentice Electrician
Location: Hamilton, ON
Shift & Pay
- Afternoon shift (Monday–Friday)
- $25–$32/hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Perform basic testing (voltage, continuity, resistance)
- Support troubleshooting of industrial systems
- Help maintain motors, transformers, and control panels
- Complete maintenance records and assist with inventory
- Follow all safety standards and electrical codes
Requirements
- 2–3 years of electrical experience (industrial or commercial)
- Registered apprentice or working toward registration (STO preferred)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
