Bartender/Food Service Worker

Our taproom is more than just a place to grab a pint—it is a community hub fueled by storytelling, hospitality, and exceptional beer. We are looking for an energetic, experienced bartender and food service professional who loves craft culture and thrives in a bustling, social environment. What You'll Do

As a core member of our front-of-house team, you will curate the guest experience from the first pour to the final cash-out:

• Craft the Experience: Pour pints, prepare/serve light food items, sell merchandise, and fill growlers, or ring up cans for retail.
• Be the Beer Expert: Confidently guide guests through our tap list, answering questions about flavors, ingredients, and the brewing process.
• Keep Things Seamless: Ring up orders quickly using our Point-of-Sale (POS) system, maintain a pristine bar environment, and accurately balance your till at shift-end.
• Own the Floor: Work independently or alongside the team to keep the taproom, storage areas, and guest spaces clean, organized, and welcoming.

What You Bring (The Requirements)

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

• Industry Experience: Proven experience bartending or serving in a fast-paced restaurant/bar environment.
• Heavy Lifting: Ability to safely and repeatedly lift and move kegs weighing up to 90 lbs.
• Safety First: Current Food Safe Certification (or equivalent provincial food handling certificate). Or willingness to complete training on hire
• Safe serve (or equivalent) or willing to complete training on hire
• The Right Attitude: A genuine passion for customer service, a reliable work ethic, and a natural ability to connect with people.

The Would be Nice (Assets we value):

• Formal knowledge of the commercial brewing process or inventory management systems.
• Extra certifications like Cicerone Certified Beer Server or specialized hospitality training.

Hours & Availability

This is a part-time evening/weekend position

• Strict Requirement: You must be available to work evening shifts (starting at 5:30 PM) and weekend shifts (days/nights).
