Equipment Operator/Skilled Labourer

We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team. This is a hands-on position with a variety of work including excavation, landscaping, construction, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Operate skid steers, mini excavators, loaders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Construct wood fences, retaining walls, drainage systems, and other landscape projects.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
• Transport equipment and materials using trucks and trailers (valid driver's licence required; experience towing is an asset).
• Assist with loading, unloading, site preparation, and occasional general manual labour.
• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Experience in fence construction, landscaping, or general construction.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Physically capable of performing manual labour when required.
• Class 5 driver's licence required. Experience towing trailers and Class 3 with air brakes are considered strong assets.
