Covetime Retreat is a luxury, off-grid waterfront retreat tucked away in stunning Desolation Sound. We host families, friends, corporate retreats and special celebrations who come here to reconnect with nature—and we are looking for someone who takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience.

This is not your typical housekeeping job.

We're looking for someone who notices the details without being asked, takes ownership, and genuinely enjoys making a property look its absolute best.

About the Property

Covetime Retreat is a private, boat-access-only luxury retreat featuring multiple cabins, waterfront decks, hot tub, outdoor gathering spaces and spectacular ocean views. Every guest has exclusive use of the entire property.

Because we're only accessible by boat:

• Applicants from Cortes Island are encouraged to apply (we can arrange transportation from Squirrel Cove if needed).
• Applicants from Lund or Powell River with their own boat are ideal.
• Transportation arrangements are available.

Responsibilities

You'll prepare the property between guest stays by:

• Cleaning cabins, kitchens and bathrooms to luxury hospitality standards
• Making beds and staging rooms beautifully
• Laundry and linen preparation
• Restocking guest amenities
• Cleaning outdoor spaces, decks and BBQs
• Inspecting the property for maintenance issues
• Reporting anything needing attention
• Helping ensure every guest walks into a property that feels immaculate

Depending on the season, there may also be opportunities to assist with:

• Property care
• Gardening
• Light landscaping
• Organizing supplies
• Special event setup

We're Looking For Someone Who...

• Takes pride in their work
• Has exceptional attention to detail
• Is reliable and dependable
• Works well independently
• Doesn't need constant direction
• Notices what needs doing before being asked
• Is physically fit and comfortable with an active role
• Loves nature and being outdoors
• Has previous housekeeping or hospitality experience (preferred but not required)

Bonus Qualifications

• Own boat
• Lives on Cortes Island, Powell River or Lund
• Vacation rental or hospitality experience
• Property maintenance experience
• Gardening or landscaping experience
