Join a well-established manufacturing leader in Vaughan that has been driving innovation for over three and a half decades. As a Robotic Welding Operator / Technician you will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining robotic welding cells. You'll work alongside a collaborative, interdisciplinary team of welders, engineers, and quality professionals to hit production targets, keep machine downtime to a minimum, and build precision parts to customer specs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, start, monitor, and shut down automatic weld cells, robotic welding arms, and semi-automatic GMAW equipment.

  • Interpret welding blueprints, engineering drawings, manuals, and process specifications.

  • Perform initial setups (under supervision), adjust welding heads and tooling, troubleshoot robot controllers, and resolve weld issues on the line.

  • Inspect completed welds to ensure strict quality standards are met; adhere to all company safety protocols and PPE requirements.

  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers with continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, minimize scrap, and reduce rework.

  • Learn to program and modify robotic and welding equipment to optimize running efficiency over time.

What We Are Looking For
  • Prior hands-on experience or formal education/training in Welding and/or Robotics.

  • Familiarity with GMAW (MIG) welding processes and reading technical drawings/blueprints.

  • An eagerness to learn advanced manufacturing techniques and advance into robotic programming.

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to working safely within a cross-functional team.
