Part time cleaner

Emajo Facilities is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented independent cleaning contractor to support our growing operations in Ottawa. You will primarily complete Airbnb turnovers, vacant-unit cleanings, and residential cleaning assignments, with occasional commercial cleaning work. Responsibilities

• Complete Airbnb turnovers and prepare units for incoming guests
• Clean vacant, move-in, and move-out units
• Perform residential and occasional commercial cleaning
• Follow cleaning checklists and property-specific instructions
• Report damages, missing items, maintenance issues, or supply shortages
• Take completion photos when required
• Maintain consistent quality while completing assignments efficiently

Requirements

• Previous residential cleaning experience is required
• Airbnb turnover experience is an asset
• Commercial cleaning experience is an asset
• Personal vehicle and reliable transportation are required
• Minimum availability of approximately 10 hours per week
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication
• Comfortable using a mobile phone for schedules, instructions, and job updates

Compensation and Schedule

• $22–$24 per hour, based on experience and performance
• Approximately 10–20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours
• Flexible shift times based on cleaning assignments and guest schedules
• Cleaning supplies and equipment provided
• Independent contractor position

Service Area Most assignments are located between Downtown Ottawa and St. Laurent Mall, with occasional work near the Carleton University area.
