Napsteel is seeking a motivated Purchaser to join our customer service team in our Surrey location. ResponsibilitiesManaging end-to-end procurement activitiesSourcing vendor and maintaining and strengthening vendor relationshipsNegotiating pricing and managing agreements with the vendorsPlacing and managing purchase ordersMaintaining accurate records related to pricing, order confirmations and contractsAnalyzing market and delivery systems to assess present and future inventory availabilityOverseeing and maintaining adequate inventoryTracking incoming goods and responding to inquiries regarding incoming shipmentsResolving material delivery issues and discrepancies with suppliersMaintaining current market knowledge and import regulationsOther duties as required QualificationsMeticulous attention to detail is requiredOrganized, efficient and strong analytical skillsHigh level knowledge of Excel, Statistic gathering and formulatingStrong computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized ERP systemExtremely well organized, able to work independently or as a team with a high level of initiative and flexibility and willing to take on new tasks as needed.Self-motivated & able to problem solve within a fast paced, constantly growing environmentExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong interpersonal skills, friendly, approachable and a team player Why Work for Us:Company-paid benefits package, including Extended Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, and VisionTwo weeks vacation to use in your first year, three weeks on your 2nd anniversary6 Personal Days to do whatever you like with4% RRSP matching program after three months
