Duties:
- Registering patients and scheduling follow-up appointments
- Processing referrals, booking, and confirming appointments
- Managing all incoming telephone inquiries, scheduling appointments, as well as retrieving and returning messages on behalf of the physician
- Providing ongoing office support to the physician
- Preparing, managing, and filing patient charts
- Assisting with OHIP billing using OSCAR
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and shipments
- Ordering office and medical supplies, when required
- Processing transactions for supplements using a Square POS
- Data entry into QUICK-BOOKS with prior knowledge is an asset
- Collecting, organizing and analyzing data for studies
- Training will be provided
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Passion for learning medicine and dealing with complex cases in an integrative office
- MUST be able to type a minimum of 60 words per minute
- MUST have technological proficiency, including knowledge of using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Preference for health sciences or medical-related background (e.g., Life Sciences or Health Sciences students)
- Multi-lingual is an asset
Start Date: April to May 2026 (will receive training before working independently)
