Printing Press Extruder Operator

Full-time permanent position available as a Production Operator (Printing Press/Extruder).

Requirements

Job Duties:

• Must be flexible to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Perform job set-ups, adjustments, startups, and shutdowns in accordance with specifications and standard operating procedures.
• Adjust machinery to meet optimal targets set by the company.
• Monitor, inspect, and report safely on film quality, production, and equipment condition.
• Report findings to Supervisor or Specialist and work with them to resolve any cause of defect.
• Ensure quality of film and raw materials meet or exceed customer and company standards.
• Participate in cross-training on other company equipment.
• Must be able to work overtime as required beyond standard work hours.

Compensation:

• Starting rate is $28.28/hr with an increase after 6 months.
• Continental shift: 12 hours days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work at heights.
