Job Title: Diesel Forklift Operator

Job Description:

• Operate a Diesel Forklift in the yard of the facility.
• Overtime after 40 hours.
• Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Check hydraulic and motor oil level, water, and fuel before operating the forklift.
• Report all mechanical issues to the maintenance department immediately.
• Check sill placement of all panels when placing anywhere.
• Inspect panel quality and return non-conforming panels to the plant for repairs.
• Dump waste bins.
• Operate front-end loader and/or skid steer as required (training provided).
• Assist in the removal of other products from the buildings.
• Place finished products into proper bays outside.
• Receive loading orders for the day.
• Prepare products for shipping (e.g., special bundles, block load skids are correct).
• Load products onto trailers.
• Inspect products for any damage after loading.
• Unload raw materials and ensure they are delivered to the proper recipient.
• Assist in organizing the yard as much as possible.
• Load products onto trailers.
• Load and unload items in the repair bay.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations as per Faddis safety policy.
• Wear all prescribed personal protective equipment.
• Actively promote and understand all relevant safety rules.
• Ensure forklift checks are done at the beginning of the shift or when operating a different forklift.
• Follow all applicable procedures.
