We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Laborer to join our growing team. The individual will be a shop assistant with the following responsibilities:
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
- Follow quality and safety standards.
- Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.
- Understand cut lists for daily jobs.
- Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.
- Monday through Friday, no weekends, no required overtime.
- Tools and equipment are provided.
- Open door policy with the production manager.
- Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems)
- Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Some prior Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.

This role is based in Port Coquitlam, BC.
The position runs Monday through Friday with no weekends and no required overtime.
The salary is listed as $19.00–$21.00 per hour.
Responsibilities include operating woodworking machinery and hand tools, understanding product lines and installation techniques, following quality and safety standards, maintaining shop equipment, understanding cut lists, and performing additional tasks as defined by the Production Manager.
Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making is preferred, with some prior woodworking experience being a plus, but not required.
