DescriptionPaladin Canada is advancing the Patterson Lake South (PLS) Project, one of Canada's most significant uranium development projects. As we continue to grow our Canadian team, we are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources (HR) Advisor to help support the people strategy, workforce growth, and employee experience that will contribute to the project's future success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders on recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and talent acquisition activities
  • Lead Paladin Canada's full-cycle recruitment for salaried and hourly positions
  • Provide practical HR guidance and recommendations on employee relations, policy interpretation, and workplace matters
  • Conduct workplace investigations and support the timely resolution of employee concerns
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies, programs, and procedures
  • Provide guidance to support compliance with employment legislation and company policies
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, compensation changes, leaves, and offboarding
  • Lead assigned HR projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze HR data and prepare reports to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to strengthen HR programs and practices
  • Prepare employment agreements, letters, and other confidential documentation that supports key employee lifecycle activities
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding benefit plans, HR programs, and policies
  • Provide guidance to employees and leaders on disability management, leaves of absence, and workplace accommodation matters

QualificationsEducation
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or advisor capacity
    Experience providing Human Resources guidance to leaders across a range of employee relations matters
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes for salaried and hourly positions
  • Experience in mining, construction, industrial, engineering, or other operational environments is considered an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan employment legislation, HR practices, and employment standards
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build credibility and effective working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to provide practical HR advice and recommendations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems (HRIS)
  • Commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and high-quality work
  • Ability to assess complex situations and provide practical, risk-based recommendations
