Sales Coordinator
Our client is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the sales team by coordinating communication between design, estimating, operations, and outside sales to ensure the efficient delivery of products and services. This role is responsible for managing order progress, maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating logistics, and ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule. Experience in the home building, renovation, or lumber and building materials (LBM) industry is highly valued.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Coordinate with outside sales, design, estimating, and operations teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently from quote through delivery
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by providing order updates, delivery timelines, and resolving inquiries in a timely manner
  • Monitor project progress, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure product specifications, pricing, and timelines meet customer expectations
  • Partner with distribution teams to schedule deliveries, resolve logistical issues, and ensure products arrive on time
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to improve communication, streamline workflows, and enhance the customer experience
  • Proactively identify and resolve order or delivery challenges while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare reports and maintain organized records of customer interactions, project timelines, and order status
Your strengths include:
  • 2+ years of experience in sales coordination, project coordination, or customer service, preferably within the home building, renovation, construction, or lumber and building materials (LBM) industry
  • Strong knowledge of lumber products, building materials, or construction processes
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM or ERP systems
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of estimating, project management, or design software is considered an asset
