Pay Rate: $25.87/hour
Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (Approx. 3 Months with potential Ext - Not Guaranteed)
Shift: Day Shift (with flexibility based on operational needs)Shift Time: 5:30am to 2pm

Fuze HR Solutions is Hiring!Fuze HR Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator – Peeling for our client, a well-established food manufacturing company located in Milton, Ontario.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled forklift operator with strong Crown Reach experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will support daily peeling operations, ensure efficient material flow, and assist with production goals while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Crown Reach forklift to support peeling and production operations.
• Support daily peeling operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
• Manage efficient movement and supply of materials to production equipment.
• Monitor equipment operation and report mechanical concerns to Maintenance.
• Assist with troubleshooting basic equipment or process issues when trained.
• Support preventative maintenance activities during scheduled downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available for production needs.
• Complete required production reports, visibility boards, and documentation.
• Communicate production updates, equipment concerns, and operational issues to leadership.
• Assist the Shipping/Receiving department when peeling duties are completed or as required.
• Identify and report safety hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Crown Reach forklift operating experience (required).
• Valid forklift certification required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or food production environment.
• Strong understanding of safe material handling practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic operational issues and make adjustments when trained.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.

Education & Experience:

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and related work experience will be considered.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including warm, cool, and freezer environments depending on assigned duties.
• Ability to work in areas requiring personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be comfortable working around production equipment and moderate noise levels.
