The Automotive Technician Apprentice will gain hands-on experience working as part of a small team under the supervision of senior technicians. Reporting directly to the shop manager, this apprenticeship offers practical training in vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics, preparing the apprentice to develop essential automotive skills in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform engine maintenance tasks
- Conduct brake repairs and inspections
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Engage with customers professionally and courteously
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in automotive repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and engine repair
- Understanding of brake systems and tool handling
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
