Our Business

FISPAN is an Enterprise SaaS FinTech company that allows banks to deploy embedded financial products and services to create a seamless banking connection for their corporate clients. Our product aims to provide instant scale and reach for banks who want to remove friction and add value by enabling their commercial banking clients to access banking services through their preferred operational software. Founded in 2016 by renowned entrepreneur Lisa Shields, FISPAN is on a mission to create the best product in the FinTech industry, and fundamentally change the way that companies bank. Being the market leader in ERP-banking, we work with the world's Tier 1 banks with assets exceeding up to $3T, including J.P. Morgan Chase.

With our rapid growth, we are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join our high performance team, in an inclusive culture, that rockets us to number 1 in our space. FISPAN recognizes that passionate, hard working individuals with diverse backgrounds are what makes innovation happen. Being a Vancouver based start-up, our modern and scenic office is located in downtown's historic Guinness Tower Building.

Project Manager & Enablement Specialist

As a Project Manager & Enablement Specialist at FISPAN, you will sit at the intersection of execution and strategy—managing the lifecycle of our knowledge initiatives while driving the operational effectiveness of our global teams and key bank partnerships. We are seeking an enablement specialist with a strong foundation in project management methodologies and instructional design to own, structure, and execute our internal and external training, guided product demo development, and documentation roadmaps.

This is a high-impact role requiring hands-on execution and cross-functional coordination. You will manage complex projects from conception to completion, driving alignment across Product, Engineering, and Sales, while keeping timelines, resources, and deliverables on track. Your ability to project manage highly technical initiatives, collaborate effectively across departments, and translate complex concepts into structured, scalable enablement programs and interactive experiences will be critical to driving our operational excellence and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Management: Manage the full lifecycle of training, guided product demo development, and documentation initiatives. Define project scope, track milestones, manage risks, coordinate resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-priority enablement projects.
  • Enablement Strategy & Execution: Design, build, and deploy comprehensive training curriculums, interactive product demos, and learning pathways for internal teams and external bank partners, ensuring alignment with product release cycles and company milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary project point of contact connecting Product, Engineering, Sales, and Executive leadership. Run discovery sessions to identify knowledge gaps, extract technical requirements, and build consensus on enablement and demo priorities.
  • Documentation & Governance Strategy: Direct the creation, styling, and maintenance of technical guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), release notes, and reference manuals. Establish maintenance schedules and governance models to ensure all technical content remains accurate and scalable.
  • Infrastructure & Enablement Tool Ownership: Project manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS), interactive demo software, and internal knowledge bases (e.g., Confluence, Notion), ensuring seamless version control and content accessibility.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding project delivery, training effectiveness, demo engagement, and documentation adoption. Report on milestones, knowledge retention, and program impact to senior leadership.

Required Skills + Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7+ years of progressive experience, including a proven track record in project management paired with corporate training, instructional design, digital adoption, or technical enablement.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong mastery of project management principles and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban). Proven ability to manage multiple competing project timelines simultaneously, prioritize deliverables, and keep cross-functional tracks moving forward.
  • Cross-Functional Influence & Communication: Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and relationship-management skills. Proven ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate project teams without direct authority, and translate complex technical workflows into accessible enablement assets.
  • Interactive Demo & Content Creation: Experience scoping, designing, or building guided product tours or interactive demo experiences (e.g., using platforms like Navattic, Walnut, Reprise, or advanced sandbox/screencasting environments).
  • Technical Writing & Documentation: Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for detail, structure, and clarity in technical documentation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Technology, Communications, or a related field.
  • LMS & Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing and optimizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and enterprise knowledge repositories.
  • Location/Language: Candidate must be located in Vancouver. Native English proficiency is required. French language proficiency is a strong plus.
  • Industry Interest: Preference given to candidates with experience in Financial Technology, Banking, ERPs, or B2B SaaS.
