Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and supporting marketing initiatives that promote Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser's services and enhance brand visibility across multiple platforms. This role plays a key part in driving patient engagement, supporting business growth, and maintaining a strong public presence for both Fraser Valley Cataract and Laser and BC LASIK.

- Creativity-Creative mindset with an eye for branding and visual consistency
- Digital Marketing-Proficiency with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Workspace)
- Project Management-Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Team Player-Team-oriented and comfortable collaborating across departments
- Confident in representing the brand professionally, both online and in person
- Customer Service: Friendly, customer centric attitude that can make doctors feel comfortable and ensure a positive experience in person, on the phone, and via email.
- Relationship Building: Engages with stakeholders to foster trust and open lines of communication, demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Develop and schedule content for social media, newsletters, and other digital platform
- Coordinate content days, including staff photos, video shoots, and promotional campaigns with Media Person
- Work with Graphic Designer and proofread content for marketing materials, website pages, and advertisements
- Assist in the creation of promotional campaigns for LASIK, ICL, Blepharoplasty and other services
Digital Marketing
- Manage and update website content in coordination with web developers and clinic leadership
- Monitor and optimize digital ad performance across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta)
- Support SEO and SEM initiatives to improve online visibility and search rankings
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) across campaigns
Reputation & Brand Management
- Oversee online reviews (e.g., Google Business), respond to patient feedback professionally
- Ensure brand consistency across all materials and platforms
- Collaborate with clinic leadership to align messaging with business goals
- Oversee printed marketing materials to referring clinics and community partners
Event Coordination & Community Outreach
- Support the planning and promotion of in-clinic events and community outreach
- Support Business Developer for clinic visits, materials and gift delivery to referring partners
- Support Business Developer in his/her relationships with referring clinics and identify outreach opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with clinical, surgical, and administrative teams to ensure marketing aligns with patient flow and clinic needs
- Assist in developing and maintaining referral programs and preparation of new proposals and business cases in collaboration with operations and Business Developer
Business Development
- Account Management-Manage existing key optometrist and physician accounts
- Relationships-Build excellent relationships with existing and new physicians
- Planning-Develop and execute your business development plan to meet and exceed targets and schedules
- Education-Establish public and referring doctor awareness of the services and procedures performed by our Ophthalmologists
- Analysis-Analyze reports for new patient referral results and identify key insights to enable proper decision making
- Reporting-Provide reports on progress and activities with existing physicians and business development opportunities
- Stakeholder Engagement-Ensure internal stakeholders are aligned with resource requirements for new business opportunities
- Customer Excellence-Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to ensure customer excellence
