Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In this role, you'll handle vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, as well as assist with minor body work. You'll contribute to a safe and efficient shop environment and help keep our fleet running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct road tests following safe driving practices
• Assist with minor body work, including removal and installation of components such as bumpers, fenders and doors
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support fleet maintenance operations and contribute to team success

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certificate in Automotive Service Technician
• Minimum of five years of automotive service experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brake systems, fuel, ignition, emission systems, drivetrain components, and HVAC systems
• Experience reading automotive schematics and using diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comply with workplace safety standards, including the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
• Valid BC driver's license with a clean driving record
