Are you high-energy, detail-oriented, and love talking about cannabis? We are a brand-new, fast-paced, high-volume legal retail cannabis store opening at 1170 Sheppard Ave, and we're looking for reliable part-time Budtenders to join our founding team!
Because we are a high-volume shop, our ideal team members thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, love moving fast, and keep a cool head when a rush hits. If you enjoy connecting with people and want to be part of an exciting new store launch, we want to hear from you.
While this is an entry-level role, previous retail, hospitality, or cannabis dispensary experience is a major asset!
Responsibilities

Customer Experience: Greet customers with a high-energy attitude, guide them through our large menu, and process fast, accurate transactions at the point-of-sale (POS) terminal.
Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on our rotating stock of flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, and concentrates to provide quick, insightful recommendations.
Compliance First: Strictly enforce Ontario legal retail regulations, ensuring 100% compliance with ID checks (valid 19+ photo ID) and AGCO regulations.
Inventory & Visuals: Assist with receiving inventory, restocking displays quickly during rushes, and ensuring the sales floor stays clean, organized, and welcoming.
Team Player: Work closely with the team to hit daily store goals and keep the vibe upbeat.

Requirements & Qualifications

Age Restriction: Must be 19 years of age or older (legal requirement).
Certification: CannSell certification is required before your first official shift. (If you don't have it yet, you must be willing to obtain it prior to starting!)
Availability: Must be primarily available to work weekends (Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays), as well as occasional holidays.
Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment, cash handling, or a cannabis dispensary is a huge plus.
Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs (inventory boxes).
Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check for cannabis retail employment.
