Position Details:

· Permanent, Full-time

· Hourly

· On-site

Location: Cornwall Road, Oakville.

Summary:

The Production Kit Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate material flow between the warehouse and production. This role manages the receiving and verification of kits, checks documentation against Bills of Materials (BOMs) and picking slips, coordinates material release to production, investigates material discrepancies with Engineering, and supports inventory accuracy activities including year-end counts.

In order to excel in this role, you need to have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to stay organized and analytical while managing materials and resolving variances in a fast‐paced environment.

The primary responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

· Receive production kits and verify all components against the Bill of Materials (BOM) and packing slips prior to release.

· Ensure kits are complete, accurate, and compliant with documented requirements.

· Flag discrepancies and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Warehouse teams to resolve issues promptly.

· Process and verify materials returned from production, ensuring all quantities and part numbers match documentation.

· Update inventory systems to reflect accurate on-hand quantities.

· Identify and investigate overages, shortages, or mis-labeled materials and escalate as needed.

· Secure and prepare materials for departure to the warehouse.

· Ensure proper handling, labeling, and traceability of materials throughout the process.

· Follow established procedures for material staging, tagging, and physical storage.

· Investigate extra parts, missing items, BOM variances, or unexpected material movements, document findings and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

· Participate in cycle counts and full year-end inventory counts (YEC).

· Assist in reconciling count variances and identifying root causes.

· Support the preparation, organization, and execution of annual inventory events.

· Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure materials are stored according to safety and quality standards.

· Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Materials and Production Control functions.

· Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Academic Training:

· High school diploma or equivalent is required.

· A post-secondary education in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is an asset.

Work Experience:

· 2+ years of experience in inventory control, kitting, warehouse operations, or production support.

· Work experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.

Specific Competencies:

· Understanding of BOM structures, picking list, and material handling processes.

· Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.

· Product knowledge and the ability to differentiate between products.

· Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

· Ability to work with limited supervision.

· Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Dexterity and attention to detail.

· Organizational skills.

· Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

· Availability to occasionally work overtime.
