The On-Site Barn & Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance and operations of equine facilities and short-term rental properties, ensuring smooth daily functions and top-quality customer experiences. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this full-time role requires on-call availability and leadership of a medium-sized team of 6-15 employees. Accommodations are provided.
Responsibilities
- Overall horse care for up to 150 horses
- Maintain and repair barn and equine facilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 6-15 staff members
- Oversee budgeting and expense management for facility operations
- Ensure upkeep and maintenance of equipment and property grounds
- Manage customer relations and address client needs related to horse care
- Coordinate facility use for short-term rentals
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in horse care and staff management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and desire to grow the business including hospitality and tourism
