Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Corrugated Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating corrugated converting or finishing equipment and be committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor corrugated manufacturing/converting machines.
- Read and interpret production orders, specifications, and work instructions.
- Perform machine adjustments to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine adjustments.
- Load raw materials and ensure continuous production flow.
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Follow all health and safety policies, GMPs (where applicable), and company procedures.
- Work closely with production supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating corrugated manufacturing or converting equipment.
- Experience with machines such as Flexo Folder Gluer (FFG), Rotary Die Cutter, Printer Slotter, Folder Gluer, Stitcher, Laminator, or Corrugator is considered an asset.
- Ability to read work orders, measuring tools, and production specifications.
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work overtime when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the corrugated packaging or paper products industry.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- Basic computer skills for production reporting.
