Job Description: Financial Analyst
About the Role
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a solid foundation in financial analysis who is looking to grow into a Sr Financial Analyst (SFA) role. The ideal candidate will have the maturity and confidence to take on increasing responsibility, including presenting financial results to leadership and building strong relationships with our business partners. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
What You'll Do
Manage contracts, rates, and some journal entries.
Gain exposure to and eventually take ownership of P&L management and budgeting processes.
Present P&L results to a group of directors on a monthly basis.
Develop and maintain strong, face-to-face relationships with business partners to understand their needs and provide value.
Translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
Pull and manipulate data from our ERP system (SAP or equivalent) and analyze it in Excel.
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
1-2 years of solid experience in a Financial Analyst or FP&A role.
Demonstrated experience with P&L management and budgeting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and HLOOKUP.
Proven experience in a business partnering capacity, with direct, face-to-face interaction with stakeholders (experience with manager-level partners is a plus).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to a non-financial audience.
The confidence and maturity to grow into a Sr-level role.
