Join a Large-Scale Industrial Security Team in Kitimat, BC!We are seeking Security Officers who reside in the Kitimat or Terrace area to join our team supporting a large-scale industrial project in Kitimat, British Columbia.Successful applicants will play a critical role in maintaining site security, supporting access control operations, assisting with emergency response, and helping ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and infrastructure.*Local Residents Only: Applicants must currently reside in Kitimat or Terrace, BC, or be willing to relocate prior to their start date.*Scarlet Security & Risk Group (SSRG) is an ISO31000, ISO9001 and ISO45001 certified company and one of Canada's leading security companies. Our diverse, highly qualified team members and relentless commitment to excellence create superior results for our clients.ResponsibilitiesMaintaining excellent customer service to guests, colleagues, and site workersAccess control/intrusion detection of site, waterfront and port areaMonitoring site activities, detecting suspicious occurrences and providing detailed written incident reportsMobile and foot patrols of assigned area and recording daily activitiesProcessing site access requests (Visitors, Vendors, Deliveries)Administrative duties and issuing/creating site access badgesMonitoring access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance systemsEmergency response dispatch and team communications via radioQualificationsValid BC Security LicenseValid Intermediate First Aid or Level C CPR/AEDValid full Class 5 Driver's Licence and acceptable Driver's AbstractValid Transportation EndorsementMust be able to pass Drug and Alcohol Test (SSRG will arrange)Must be able to pass criminal record checkStrong written and spoken English communication skillsWillingness to work both day and night shifts, indoors or outdoors as requiredAdditional InformationFull uniform provided including PPE.
