HVAC Service Technician - Licensed
Pay: $38.00 - $65.00 per hour, depending on experience
Work Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday
Position Overview:
- Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues, replace faulty components, and complete repairs efficiently.
- Install new systems and carry out equipment retrofits in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Review work orders, assess service requests, and investigate customer concerns to determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend effective repair or replacement solutions.
- Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining a professional and courteous approach.
- Complete accurate service documentation, including work orders and maintenance records.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system performance, repair recommendations, and maintenance requirements.
- Keep current with advancements in HVAC and refrigeration technologies, equipment, and industry best practices.
Qualifications / Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with an acceptable, insurable driving record.
- Journeyman Technician certification is considered an asset but is not required.
- Hands-on experience servicing commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Proven ability to perform preventative and routine equipment maintenance.
- Solid understanding of local plumbing codes, regulations, and compliance standards.
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with customers, and coworkers.
