If you have a Class 5 with Heavy Trailer endorsement and experience within the Truss Manufacturing or Building Materials Industry, then we have your dream job.

The Position

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will provide delivery services to our customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conducting pre and post shift inspection of equipment and filling out reports.

• Ensure load is fully secured by means of being on the trailer deck with agile, hands-on movements

• Deliver trusses and other building materials, craning

• Ensure deliveries are made on time and include all necessary materials

• Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner as instructed

• Maintaining delivery timelines

• Conduct yourself in a safe, professional and courteous manner at all times

Knowledge:

• Current Class 5 with heavy trailer endorsement or Class 1

• Clear driving abstract

• Knowledge of City of Creston and surrounding area

• Understand city bylaws and permit requirements

• Safety trained

• Experience with wide loads and craning an asset

• Excellent time management & organizational skills

• Able to follow instructions and are dependable
