Shifts: Sunday-Thursday

The Powder Painter is responsible for applying powder coatings to metal and manufactured components using manual and automated spray equipment. This role ensures products meet quality, appearance, and durability standards while maintaining safe and efficient operation of powder coating equipment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare parts and surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and inspecting components.
Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray guns and automated powder coating systems.
Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality to ensure specifications are met.
Perform color changes and clean powder coating equipment to prevent contamination.
Load and unload parts from racks, conveyors, and curing ovens.
Inspect finished products for defects, coverage issues, and appearance standards.
Troubleshoot coating application issues and make adjustments to equipment as necessary.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on powder coating equipment and spray systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.
Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
