General Laborer

Position: Concrete Coring General Labourer

Location: Head Office in Hamilton, ON | Travel throughout Toronto and the GTA

Pay Rate: $23/hour - $25/hour, negotiable if experienced

Description

We are currently hiring a Concrete Coring General Labourer to join a busy construction team. This head office is based out of the Hamilton, with regular travel required to job sites throughout Toronto and the GTA. Travel from the office with the team or head to the site on your own.

The successful candidate will assist with concrete coring, drilling, site preparation, equipment handling, clean-up, and general labour duties on active construction sites. Concrete coring experience is considered an asset, but candidates with strong general construction labour experience will also be considered.

This is a hands-on role best suited for someone who is dependable, physically fit, safety-conscious, and comfortable working at different job sites.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with concrete coring, drilling, and related construction tasks
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment
• Set up and clean up job sites
• Support operators and tradespeople as required
• Follow health and safety procedures on all job sites
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Travel to various job sites throughout Toronto and the GTA

Qualifications

• Previous construction labour experience preferred
• Concrete coring experience is considered a strong asset
• Comfortable travelling to different job sites throughout Toronto and the GTA
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors
• Experience using hand tools and power tools is an asset
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Must be able to report to the Hamilton head office as required OR travel to the site with your own vehicle if you are from the GTA/Toronto
