Rexel Canada Atlantic, a division of Rexel Canada Electrical Inc., is a leading-edge electrical wholesale distributor with 18 branches across the Maritimes and Newfoundland & Labrador.

Position: Operations Associate

As the Operations Associate, you will be responsible for a multitude of operational tasks working with the division management and staff under the guidance of the Division Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in direct billings, VDM/VDR maintenance, processing sundry invoices, and a variety of tasks to aid/assist in overall operational performance enhancement.
  • Possess strong organization and prioritizing ability, be able to multitask on a consistent basis, and have great communication skills.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Help ensure operational and administrative procedures are implemented and followed by all branch personnel.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks that support all division branches, working in tandem with the division operations team.
  • Assist in managing the branch's Health & Safety program, ensuring all policies and training are compliant, always leading by example.
  • Participate in annual audits, admin procedures, safety, and inventory counts as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer service experience within the branches.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador by building brand recognition, supporting sales initiatives, and enhancing customer experiences. Consistently ensure that our corporate image is reflected.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in administration, sales operations, or warehouse roles.
  • Good understanding of the AS400 system (an asset).
  • Positive attitude and results-driven mindset with a natural quest for root cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Applicant must live within Atlantic Canada provinces.
