Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Forklift Operator for a warehouse and materials yard in Moncton, NB. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual with forklift experience and knowledge of building materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift, preparing customer orders, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. This is for a 8 week project.
JOB DUTIESThe successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift and supporting daily warehouse and yard operations. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Operating a forklift to unload building materials from incoming trucks
• Picking and pulling customer orders accurately
• Preparing shipments for delivery
• Loading and organizing materials in the yard and warehouse
• Maintaining inventory organization and cleanliness standards
• Assisting with general warehouse duties and housekeeping
• Following all safety policies and procedures
• Working outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions
• Performing other duties as assigned
PPE REQUIREMENTS• 8 inch CSA-approved steel-toed boots
• CSA-approved hard hat
• Eye protection provided by the client
• High-visibility vest provided by the client
REQUIREMENTS• Valid forklift certification required
• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Experience working with building materials required
• Previous warehouse experience, including picking and pulling orders, required
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow workplace safety procedures
• Reliable transportation and ability to consistently attend work for the duration of the assignment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
RATE OF PAY$18.00 – $21.00/hr + 4% vacation pay
• Wage based on skillset and experience
• Temporary assignment expected to last at least 8 weeks
