Class 1 Flatbed Driver Needed ! Beechville, NS $26.06/Hr

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our client out of Beechville, NS! The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting various metals safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various types of freight.

• Monday to Friday - Dayshift (Could be the occasional overnight if a driver is off. For the occasional overnight, hotel accommodation is provided - New Brunswick).
• Flatbed, mostly curtainside - some with tarps.
• Most trucks are automatic, but the ability to drive manual is preferred.
• Delivering metal: pipes, coils, and other various metals.
• 8-16 stops in a day.
• Pay Rate: $26.06 per hour.

• A minimum of 3 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer flatbed experience.
• Loading and unloading is done by the facility, but the driver is responsible for strapping/chaining and ensuring the load is secure.
• Current clean abstract.
• Valid Class 1 License.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Must be able to provide a reference to verify at least 3 years of experience.
