Are you a highly driven, results orientated individual? UpAuto is looking for a General Sales Manager!
The General Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team. As a leader, they are responsible for budgeting, structuring, supervising, and training employees. They are responsible for ensuring the profitability of the department, supporting vehicle sales, and own customer loyalty and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of the auto industry and have demonstrated success in their previous roles.
Job Duties Include:
- Assisting Sales Consultants in processing and completing sales
- Providing support during the sales process, including supporting customer issues, and requests and finding out-of-the-box solutions
- Coaching sales staff on various aspects and supporting them in overcoming situations or issues that impact performance
- Leading the way with marketing and advertising campaigns
- Purchasing vehicles from auctions, wholesalers, and customers
- Responsible for conducting sales analyses and comparing performance to targets
- Ensuring vehicles are effectively displayed
- Leading the way when it comes to hiring and developing the sales team
- Supporting and providing assistance to customers to answer difficult questions
Successful Candidates Possess:
- Previous sales and automotive experience
- Leadership skills and the ability to coach
- Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written
- Ability to manage inventory and forecasting sales

Job Details:
- This role is required on a FULL-TIME, PERMANENT basis

The expected compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $120,000 / year (The range may vary based on experience and qualifications)
This compensation encompasses base salary and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
