Our client in Brantford is hiring a weekend shift Certified Millwright or a minimum 3rd year Millwright Apprentice! This position requires a Millwright with proven communication and documentation skills, who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a growing, progressive company.

Wage: $34-$45 hourly based on experience and/or if ticketed, plus shift premium where applicable

Shift: Fri-Sun OR Sat-Mon, Day Shift (7am-7pm) or Night Shift (7pm-7am) - you will be paid for the full 40 hours.

Duties Include:

Troubleshooting of machinery to minimize downtime
Contributing to the development and implementation of programs and equipment upgrades
Creating work orders and assisting in the planning of jobs and projects
Maintaining clear and concise documentation

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Millwright or a Millwright Apprentice in their 3rd year; manufacturing setting is an asset
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills
Excellent technical skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability
Ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines
Skills such as electrical troubleshooting, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, fabrication, and other areas as needed
