About The Missing Middle Conference

The Missing Middle Conference brings together the leaders shaping Canada's housing future, including developers, city planners, policymakers, lenders, builders, investors, innovators, and industry partners.

MMC 2026 will take place November 16–17, 2026 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. The conference is designed to create real conversations, partnerships, and solutions around sustainable, attainable, and community-focused housing in Canada.

This is not just a conference. MMC is a national movement focused on redefining how Canada builds homes.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for 3 highly motivated Sales Representatives to join our sponsorship sales team for MMC 2026.

This is a results-driven sales role for candidates who are hungry, proactive, and ready to take extreme ownership of their pipeline, outreach, follow-up, and closed deals. Success in this role will be measured by sponsorship sales closed on a monthly basis.

This opportunity includes a base salary; however, the real earning potential is in the commission structure. For top performers, commissions are expected to far outweigh the base salary.

The right candidate knows how to take a cold lead from A to Z: identify the opportunity, make the outreach, follow up relentlessly, book the meeting, present the sponsorship opportunity, close the deal, and help ensure the sponsor has a great experience.

Reporting Structure

The Sales Representatives will report directly to the ownership group within the MMC sponsorship team and will work closely with the team to drive sponsor acquisition, manage active leads, and close monthly sponsorship targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential sponsors across real estate, development, construction, finance, lending, technology, sustainability, modular construction, legal, planning, engineering, and housing-related industries.
  • Conduct unlimited outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct follow-ups.
  • Take full ownership of assigned leads, pipeline activity, follow-up, and sponsor conversion.
  • Use self-initiative to identify new sponsorship opportunities and drive results without waiting for direction.
  • Manage cold leads from first touchpoint to closed sponsorship commitment.
  • Book sponsor discovery calls and present MMC sponsorship opportunities clearly and confidently.
  • Follow up relentlessly until a decision is made.
  • Maintain organized notes, lead status, next steps, and sponsor communication.
  • Work with the MMC team to match sponsors with the right sponsorship package.
  • Support a positive sponsor experience after closing, ensuring sponsors feel valued and excited to participate.
  • Consistently work toward monthly sales targets and weekly pipeline goals.

  • Strong organization and pipeline management skills.
  • A professional, polished, and positive approach.
  • Experience in sales, sponsorship sales, real estate, events, finance, construction, or B2B business development is an asset.

Compensation

This role includes a base salary plus high commission potential.

The position is designed for sales professionals who want to be rewarded based on performance. While a base salary will be provided, the commission opportunity is expected to be the main earning driver, with successful candidates having the ability to earn significantly more through closed sponsorship sales.

Compensation details will be discussed with selected candidates.
