Operations Manager
Our client is seeking an Operations Manager to lead branch operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing personnel, improving operational processes, maintaining compliance, and driving branch performance through strong leadership and continuous improvement.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Lead, supervise, and develop branch personnel while promoting a safe and productive work environment
  • Improve operational processes and drive efficiency across branch operations
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Oversee daily operations, route audits, documentation, and productivity initiatives
  • Monitor branch performance, support profit objectives, and manage operational resources
  • Promote workplace safety through accident prevention, investigations, and regular safety meetings
  • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees while supporting performance management
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve branch operations and achieve business goals
Your strengths include:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience, preferably in the waste or transportation industry
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Experience driving process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
  • Ability to manage budgets, productivity, and operational performance
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is an asset
  • Ability to travel as required and work in a fast-paced environment
