Working in a steel distribution yard, you will work with forklift operators, attaching chains to a crane to lift products from containers, trailers, and rail flatbeds. Tasks include:
- Lifting ends and shifting so the forklift can grab.
- Maintaining high attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, as you will be working around heavy machine operating equipment.
- Working in different weather conditions.
- Being physically able to stay active on your feet all day, including getting in and out of containers.
