Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Installation Responsibilities
- Install and service automatic swing doors, sliding doors, revolving doors, turnstiles, gates, and barrier arms.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements, assess site conditions, and support installation planning.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate scopes of work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automatic door and security entrance systems.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on proper installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
- Help establish best practices, quality standards, and efficient workflows within the division.
- Lead by example in professionalism, workmanship, and customer service.
- Manage installation and project coordination for revolving doors, turnstiles, gates, and barrier arms while ensuring alignment with project timelines and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal technicians to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Monitor project progress and ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with management to strengthen supplier and customer relationships within the security entrance market.
- Assist in developing scopes of work, quotations, and pricing for new projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Support the growth and development of this new division through operational leadership and industry expertise.
- Experience installing and servicing automatic doors and/or security entrance systems.
- Strong understanding of revolving doors, turnstiles, gates, barrier arms, and access control integration.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing projects, coordinating trades, and working directly with customers.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
