HR Specialist Opening
Our client is a non-profit community center providing services to the community for over 30 years!
Perks:
- $27-$32/hr
- Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources and/or related field of study
- CHRP designation preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of HR and benefits administration experience
- Maintains current, up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes, employment law, and related professional education
- Strong HRIS and reporting experience
- Possesses valid Class G driver's license and ability to travel to other local facilities
Responsibilities:
- Advise managers with finding practical solutions to diverse HR issues while maintaining employee confidentiality
- Ensure employee personnel files are complete, current, filed appropriately, and secure
- Respond to employee HR inquiries in a timely manner
- Source a strong pool of high-quality candidates for hiring managers and represent the organization at job fairs
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation sessions and paperwork completion
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Coordinate in-house training as needed and maintain employee training records on LMS
- Coordinate employee appreciation events and initiatives to boost morale and engagement
- Communicate and assist with the implementation of human resource and occupational health and safety strategies, policies, procedures, and practices
- Maintain both hard and digital copies of employee records
