We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Brattice Builder Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining brattices in underground mining environments. This is a critical role in ensuring proper ventilation and safety for our mining operations. This role also tests to confirm the proper usage of enums in description generation
Responsibilities:
- Interpret mine ventilation plans and diagrams.
- Measure and cut brattice cloth and other materials to required specifications.
- Assemble and install brattices using hand and power tools.
- Inspect and repair existing brattices to maintain their integrity.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Document all brattice construction and repair activities.
- FullTime, PartTime and Internship
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in brattice construction or a related field (e.g., carpentry, construction) is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in an underground mining environment, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
