Our client, a well-established computer refurbishing company with over 10 years in the industry, is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead procurement and component sourcing operations. As an official Microsoft Refurbisher Partner with strong B2B and B2C channels, the company is committed to sustainability and digital inclusion. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in IT hardware procurement, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to supporting a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Request quotes/proposals and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Negotiate and manage long-term pricing agreements for critical commodities.
  • Process purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and verify transactions with suppliers.
  • Resolve issues like over-shipments, shortages, and pricing changes promptly.
  • Liaise between suppliers and departments to resolve procurement problems.
  • Maintain inventory levels aligned with company targets and goals.
  • Ensure stock data accuracy, including lead times, pricing, and supplier info.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement SOPs.
  • Follow company policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, computer, or a related field.
  • Experienced working in manufacturing industry and production/package supply.
  • Candidates with sales and purchasing experience are preferred.
  • Having a sourcing and buyer ability.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and relevant market dynamics is considered an asset.
  • Proven negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and departments.
