The PLC & Robotic Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, commissioning,

and supporting automated systems. This role involves working closely with engineering, and clients

to develop efficient and reliable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems
  • Program and integrate industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or similar)
  • Commission automation equipment on-site and at customer locations
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, controls, and communication issues
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Optimize existing automation processes for performance and reliability
  • Provide technical support during installation and startup
  • Maintain documentation, backups, and version control for programs

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
  • Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, or equivalent
  • Experience with robotic programming and integration
  • Strong understanding of industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems under minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, Passport and ability to travel (including to USA).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HMI/SCADA development
  • Knowledge of safety systems and standards (CSA, ESA, ISO)
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
