We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-ray/Mammography Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, excellent patient care skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services.

Qualifications:

Must be a registered member of CMRTO in good standing
Membership in CMRTO and OAMRT is required
Demonstrates the ability to work as a team player
Demonstrates the ability to work under minimal supervision
Valid Driver's License
Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, imaging protocols, and radiation safety principles.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining procedures and answering any questions to ensure their comfort and understanding.
Position patients correctly and shield them appropriately to protect them from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Operate radiographic equipment, adjusting controls and settings as needed to produce optimal images.
Process digital images and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with established protocols and patient confidentiality regulations.
