Do You Enjoy Talking to People and Finding a Better Deal?

At DBNC Group, we're looking for someone who loves building relationships, enjoys solving problems, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone.

This isn't a purchasing administrator role where you'll spend your day processing purchase orders.

We're looking for someone who enjoys speaking with suppliers, negotiating better pricing, comparing options, and finding smarter ways to buy. You'll play an important role in helping our business save money, build long-term supplier relationships, and keep projects moving.

You don't need years of procurement experience to succeed here.

If you're naturally personable, organized, persistent, and enjoy the challenge of getting the best value, we'd much rather teach you procurement than try to teach someone how to build rapport.

About DBNC Group

DBNC Group is a third-generation family business with interests across construction, self-storage, real estate, software and hospitality.

You'll work directly with company leadership, where your ideas are heard and your efforts have a visible impact. We value people who take ownership, look for practical improvements, and genuinely care about doing things better.

Our culture is simple:

Work Hard. Play Hard. Rest Hard.

We work with urgency, celebrate successes together, and believe people perform best when they enjoy coming to work.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, but your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with suppliers through regular phone and email communication.
  • Negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms.
  • Researching products and sourcing new suppliers to improve value.
  • Comparing quotes and recommending the best purchasing options.
  • Following up on outstanding quotes, orders, and supplier commitments.
  • Coordinating local and overseas purchases to keep projects moving.
  • Working alongside our international team to manage overseas supplier communications and order progress.
  • Keeping purchasing records, supplier information, and order tracking organized and up to date.
  • Looking for opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and strengthen our supplier network.
  • Helping improve procurement processes as our business continues to grow.
You're Probably a Great Fit If...
  • You genuinely enjoy speaking with people.
  • You build rapport quickly and leave a positive impression.
  • You're confident and professional on the phone.
  • You enjoy negotiating and aren't afraid to ask for a better price.
  • You're naturally curious and ask thoughtful questions.
  • You're persistent—you politely follow up until things get done.
  • You enjoy finding solutions instead of waiting for someone else to fix problems.
  • You're highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • You take pride in saving money and finding smarter ways of doing things.
Experience We're Looking For

Construction experience is an asset—but it's not essential.

We'd love to hear from procurement candidates with backgrounds in:

  • Customer Service
  • Inside Sales
  • Account Management
  • Business Development
  • Vendor or Supplier Management
  • Operations or Supply Chain

If you've built strong relationships over the phone, negotiated with customers or suppliers, or consistently delivered excellent service, we encourage you to apply.

What Success Looks Like

After your first several months, you'll have:

  • Built strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Successfully negotiated better pricing and purchasing terms.
  • Helped reduce purchasing costs through smarter sourcing.
  • Improved supplier responsiveness through proactive communication.
  • Kept projects moving by staying one step ahead of outstanding orders.
  • Become a trusted resource for purchasing decisions across the business.
Why Join DBNC Group?
  • Direct access to leadership with real opportunities to make an impact.
  • A growing third-generation family business where your work matters.
  • Variety—no two days are the same.
  • Opportunities to improve systems and make your mark.
  • A supportive, collaborative team environment.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Convenient Mississauga location near Highway 403.
Location & Compensation
  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Based at 3660 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, ON.
  • Easily accessible from Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Etobicoke, and Toronto.
  • Compensation: $25 per hour, based on experience and fit.
  • Immediate start available.
Our Hiring Process

The process may include:

  • A brief introductory phone conversation.
  • An in-person or virtual interview.
  • Reference checks.
  • Job offer and onboarding for the successful candidate.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes ownership of their work, and wants to grow with a business where they can make a genuine difference.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

Our recruitment process may include the use of AI to assist with candidate screening. All applicant information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and employment legislation.
