WHAT YOU GET TO DO!

Reporting to Sales, you will be ensuring we meet our customer service experience standards by looking after sales sold orders professionally and adequately. Reviewing and analyzing inventory for the new cars department. Making sure inventory is accounted for and managed, practicing set inventory and operational procedures, and coming up with process improvements beneficial to the organization.

  • Inputting new vehicles into the inventory management system (Sold Order)
  • Updating computer system to handle new models of vehicles
  • Locate new vehicles for customers and make arrangements with the dealership to obtain the requested vehicle
  • Handling the negotiation and paperwork of trading vehicles with another dealer
  • Inspecting the dealer trades once arrived at the dealership for possible damages
  • Updating and tracking all dealer trades and factory orders and updating inventory control log
  • Ensuring inventory is matching in computer and on inventory control log
  • Keeping Customer and Product Advisor updated about order status
  • Improving inventory management procedures.
  • Covering reception in the absence of receptionist (meal break/sick days/vacations).
  • Verifying the vehicle identification and stock number match relevant paperwork,
  • Checking that all reference guides, wheel locks, and keys transfer with the traded car.
  • Any other duties as requested by the Sales Manager.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

You are a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and have great customer service skills.

  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Attention to details
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, etc.)
  • Ability to learn about the product and operational procedures.
  • Candidates must possess a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license with no demerits
  • Previous experience working with the dealership is preferred but not required
  • High school or above
